I'd stay on Maui and go to Waikiki for a day! Both islands are wonderful. Kauai has the canyon I can't spell (LOL), lots of beautiful scenery...Maui has a lot to do too, but I don't think you could do it all in a day. It would take a day in itself to make the drive to Hana. Then there is the trip up Haleakala and oh so much more...

Liz, We are also going to Waikiki for 5 days in march. Likewise, we are thinking about a quick trip over to Kauai. I found a site, I believe the fare is $ 175 pp. What other ideas have you found? We are looking for local fisherman to go fishing with instead of charters. We also want to snorkel. We went to Maui twice last year and loved it. Aloha, Loni

You can have a lot of fun on Oahu for 5 days. Having been to all four islands during the last six months on business. I'd recomend Kauai, and head for the North side of Hanalei and Princeville. You can golf, hike, kayak, or just luxuriate in it's slow paced beauty....If you are looking for speed, it's not on Kauai, though.

hey guys,
thanks for all the help!!! Loni, actually Aloha has a special for 111$$$ for air and if you have an entertainment book you get 40$ off the reg no rest fair of 153, not bad... I was pretty set on Kauai, but Kona sounds cool also, I have this planned for our 15th anniv, my hubby dosen't even know we are going, so trying to put this together has been a bit overwelming. Still not sure where to go..
