We leave Vegas on 9.29, driving, flying out of phoenix on Oct.1st. I'm thinking utah canyons, lake Powell?? Please Help, hotels, sites, food. We doing GC before vegas.

9/29 Spend the day at Zion, spend night in park or nearby Springdale.
9/30 spend morning at Zion and drive to Bryce. Spend night in or near Bryce.
9/31 Spend morning in Bryce and drive to Page, AZ (Lake Powell) Do Upper Antelope Slots Canyon or short boat tour on lake. Depending on what time your flight is you might have to drive closer to Phoenix.

So sorry, I keep thinking of more questions and posting to quick. We are big boating people, should we rent a boat on lake powell or take a tour on the water?

We were there a couple of years ago with BIL who had a ski boat. It takes a long rough water ride to get from Wahweap marina to the main part of the lake. With Lake Powell being so low, I'd do a tour boat.
