10 year Anniversary destination?

I need help with a destination for our 10 year anniversary in July. I'm a former flight attendant and have been to many places but am running out of ideas for someplace for us to go together. He's never been out of Ohio, and doesn't particularly care for the beach which eliminates alot of the "romantic" destinations that come to mind.
Thanks for you help!

Desired length of trip? Budget? In the US or is he willing to try foreign travel? Any hobbies or interests? Please help to narrow it down for us.

As the previous poster mentioned, let us know what your interests are as it will be easier to recommend places for you. I'll throw out a couple ideas to begin with. How about driving the California Coast?? San Fran is a great city as is the coast north and south of there. Also, the Pacific Northwest is beautiful that time of year. You could visit Vancouver, Seattle and Portland. New England would be another great choice. Fly into Boston and visit that wonderful city, drive up the Maine Coast, then over through the White Mountains of NH into Vermont, then back down to Boston. The ideas are endless! Hope this helps.

Thanks for the ideas. Here's a bit more information to help you with my planning. Budget is negotiable..around $5000? Length of trip-a week to 10 days. He is willing to do foreign travel but is hesitant to go anywhere that English isn't spoken. I really need advice on this one. All the places I can think of either have a beach or are for kids, i.e. DisneyWorld, or people speak another lanquage. Someone mentioned to me earlier that we should consider a Napa Valley trip. I know nothing about that area. I want the trip so be special, something that we wouldn't normally do with the kids. Thanks again!

I just got back from Ireland and Scotland and absolutely loved Edinburgh. Beautiful city, easy to get around and they do speak English. You could combine Edinburgh and London, or Edinburgh and a few days out in the Highlands of Scotland.

But I also agree with the Pacific Northwest idea. A few days in Seattle, a night or two on the San Juan Islands and then off to Victoria and Vancouver in Canada.

Quebic City is another great spot.
