Found this on a website I use to look for all sorts of coupon and discount codes:
http://www.momsview.com/hertz.shtml
Don't know if you're set on Hertz, but every time I rent a car for our Maui vacation, Hertz ends up being the most expensive, no matter what kind of discounts I can find.

I'd try http://www.couponrentalcar.com They have lots of companies I think Hertz too. I book all my car rentals through there.

I've been one of the "Hertz #1 Gold" members for 25+ years.
You have to compare the various possibilities. I'm an AAA member.
About 75% of the time, the coupon offered either isn't availbable or costs more than my original reservation.
Let the "Caveat Weinor".

You can get 20% off by going through Costco if you have a membership.
Like Iowagirl, I've always found Hertz to be one of the most expensive rentals (Alamo being the other) when I look.
I've found some great discounts with Thrifty and Budget.
