Best Beach All Inclusive Resort for Group of 6

I have a group of 6 (20 somethings) planning a beach vacation. We are planning it for next summer. We want to stay at an all inclusive resort for adults somewhere in Carribean/Mexico/Central America - a resort that has great beaches, food, nightlife. I need some suggestions to point us in the right direction. Thanks for the tips!

Here are some thoughts to get things rolling:
I have stayed at the Riu Palace, Mayan Riviera Mexico and the beach there is very good. The food at the Palace was excellent and I think their high standards would also apply to the other properties but never ate at them. There are about 3 Riu's at this spot with the Riu Yucatan being from what I saw Party Central and a bit cheaper than the others. I think staying at any one gives you privileges at the others. There are also lots of other all inclusives in the area and the town of Playa Del Carmen is a short walk away. There are also lots of activities/excursions in the area in case you are not partying 24/7 !

Punta Cana Dominican Republic has one of the best beaches I have seen anywhere. Sometimes can be windy on the beach. Stayed at the Bavaro Princess- very nice and food good but not to the same standards as the Riu in Mexico. I don't know about nightlife but with many resorts it should be good.

Varadaro Cuba, stayed there, beach OK, food so so generally at Cuban resorts.

My nephews have reported good things about Cancun but I have not been there.

Bon Voyage.

One thing you may or may not already know??
Summer months at most coastal Mexican resort destinations are HOT and humid. And considered the rainy season (from about mid-July/Aug/Sept).

just curious as to why a beach vacation? My hubby and I went to Adventura Palace in Playa del Carmen for our honeymoon. It was great and like more all-inclusives you get privledges at their sister resorts. It was nice, but expensive. Since that time we have been on 3 Caribbean cruises. The cruises were cheaper and honestly, I think, more fun, plus we got to see/visit more places. The food on cruises, at least the ones we went on, was FANTASTIC!! We have been with other couples, family and just the two of us, we prefer to go with other couples. We are also planning another vacation with friends for next summer. We are wanting adventure, sun, surf and night-life. We are looking into Hawaii, Cabo San Lucas, Dominican Republic, Galapagos Islands and a Mediterranean cruise. Our honeymoon in Mexico was in July and it was hot hot hot, we didn't do much but lay by the pool and on the beach....just depends on what you want to do. Send me an email if you want more info!

I agree with the cruise idea. So many nice ports in Mexico. If you sail out of Texas you could get into Cancun. The water is ink blue gorgeous.

If not a cruise, then Puerto Vallarta, Cabo SAn Lucas, or even Mazatlan. All have great beaches. Mazatlan is old Mexico, shrimp capital. The other two are well known tourist spots. We love Cabo!

I'm also a big fan of both Cabo and PV!

Megan,
We love all inclusives. Costa Rica is a really cool destination but you might want to try some other areas because you want great beaches. Negril beach in Jamaica is great. Maroma Beach in the Mayan Riviera is truly awesome. I would contact http://www.allinclusiveoutlet.com/ All inclusive is all they do.
Hope this helps,
G
