Any world in particular?

Got places you want to go? Where? When? How long do you have? What's your budget - first class or backpacker?

Help us out here.

Make a list of the places you really want to see. Work out how much time to allocate to each and then go to one of the airline group websites for RTW tickets - Oneworld etc. and take it from there.

We did an "around the world trip" a few years ago and used the strategy described by crellston.

The internet is your friend, everything you need - airline schedules, hotels, rental cars, excursion operators, points of interest, etc., etc., etc. - is is at your finger tips.

It's YOUR TRIP so YOU have to do the planning - decide on a budget, how long you want to travel, when you want to travel the places you want to visit, then start your research.

If you don't want to do much "planning" check out the major cruise ship websites for their "Around the World Cruises" or talk with a good travel agent.
