What book should I read?
I'm going on a long haul flight with many hours in the air and airports. What book should I take on the plane? Nothing 'heavy' please in both senses of the word. ' Couldn't put it down' suggestions is what I'm looking for.

I read pure trash on airplanes. Usually a romance, a simple story that I don't have to concentrate to hard, I don't have to finish it if it bores me. I like Susan Elizabeth Phillips. She tells a good story and she's funny.
Another funny author but not romance is Christopher Moore but if I lost one of his books, I'd want to know how it turned out later.

I love my ebook too - I have a Nook. Great for travel. I used to have to take several books on long trips and that took up a lot of luggage space.
As for what to read - last year for an overseas trip, I read the Twlighlight series.

You can try this book The Mobility Revolution.
Excellent approach. First time I've seen the combination of these three issues - Zero Emissions, Zero Accidents and Zero Ownership - in other words, electric vehicles, self-driving vehicles and car-sharing - covered in one book. Check out the book: The Mobility Revolution. www.threezeroes.com
I particularly like this quote: In another decade or two, owning an internal-‐combustion car will be like smoking cigarettes – something that was done in a bygone age, or only still done by an older generation who can’t quit.

Where are you travelling? Do you like chick-lit? Sci-fi? Thrillers? Family sagas? Good writing? At this point in my life, am working through Pulitzers, Booker, National Critic award lists and am not disappointed. LMK your preferences.

When we travel we often look for books that deal with the area we are going to.
If you're going to Europe, try All the Light We Cannot See by A. Doerr
If you like mysteries, for Arizona or New Mexico any of the Tony Hillman books, or for Alaska Dana Stabenow.
