Traveling in October

Just wondering what the best places to travel to in October would be?

Traveling alone, so any suggestions would be most helpful.

Thanks!

How do you expect anyone to answer that question when we know nothing about you???

Where do you live? Where have you been already and which places did you like? What do you enjoy doing? What weather
do you want? How much do you want to spend? How long do you want to go for?

And so on and so on. You need to do some work yourself before we can help you.

Bowlnole - is this the same trip that you were looking for destinations back in January?

As Thursdaysd mentioned, we can give you better ideas if we know more about what you like to do and what type of vacation you're looking for. Or even telling us where you've already been and what you enjoyed about it.

I like to go to Hawaii or Mexico for my solo vacations for relaxation. Or Europe is good for something more challenging and stimulating.

The answer is "just about anywhere." I take my solo vacations in May and September/October. There's still a likelihood of good weather, and I feel more comfortable and welcome when everything isn't crowded with families and kids.

Mid to late October is a great time to visit the chateaux in the Loire Valley. It isn't crowded and very easy to rent a car and see three or four chateaux in a day. I did that in 2002 all by myself and had a wonderful time.
