We as a family planning for Christmas vacation trip. Considering the peak season, all the destination will be expensive. I would like to ask weather somebody advise me the place and things to carry for budget trip. I am planning for trip anywhere in Asia and budget will be 1 Lac/person.

Any suggestions will be welcomed!

Very few people here will know what a lac is, please convert it to US dollars. (I assume you mean lakh, but that won't help either.) If your budget includes airfare/trainfare you need to give your starting point, also your interests. No point in recommending mountains to someone who hates them.

I notice all your posts/threads are on this 'general interest' forum. You will get much more response if you use the destination boards like the Asia forum thursdaysd mentioned

Traveling within Christmas season will depend on where you would want to go. Personally, it would be nice to visit Korea. To get low fares. Perhaps, you can get in touch with a travel agent for a vacation package.
