Travel Guru's World Wide

Most of us Fodorites are fiercely independent travelers (including yours truly) who would never deign to use a travel agent/guru. For those of you who would do so, the latest Conde Nast Travel Magazine (December)includes their annual comprehensive list of 150 "gurus" with phone numbers(some toll free) and full detailed descriptions of each one's expertise.

That's a great annual article. I used to subscribe to the magazine and always enjoyed that feature. Not that I would (could afford) to use one. But their specialties are interesting to read about.
