Train ride from Florida to Alaska

Hello husband and I are planning a trip we would really like to visit Alaska. We currently live in Florida do any of you know about a train that would take us from Florida up the coast I'm sure it would take more than one train to get there. Looking for tips and information suggestions opinions on this type of trip

For more readership and replies, you will want to repost your question in the United States travel forum (see Change Forum at the top of the page).

Not too many people read this general "Travel Tips" board.

Florida 'up the coast' would seem to indicate the Atlantic coast -- so obviously no.

If you mean the Pacific coast -- still no. There are no trains connecting the lower 48 and Alaska (even traveling through Canada)

So do re-post on the US board and ask for other options for getting to Alaska.

I do not believe you can get from Florida to Alaska only by using the train.

You can't get to Alaska from anywhere in the lower 48 only using trains

You could go on Amtrak Silver Meteor & Capitol Limited thru Washington DC to Chicago.

The take the Empire Buildilng from Chicago to Seattle.

Then fly or go by cruise from Seattle on to Alaska.

No, there is no train service from Florida to Alaska.
You will have to change numerous trains, take multiple roads and spend a lot of money and time on this.
