Small wedding/family vacation in December

My fiance and I are planning an intimate wedding + vacation for us & our immediate family in mid to end December this year. We have flying benefits so can fly to most's large cities....so we have many choices but cannot decide. Most typical places are booked since its so close to Christmas. Kona is an option but its difficult finding an available house for 8-10 people....Are there any suggestions for a great memorable place for a nice family vacation (4 people in our 20-30's and 4 in their 60's) where we can also share some wedding vows? FODERS helped us with our last vacation to Bocas Del Toro, Panama so we are back for more great ideas .....thank you!!!

Congratulations;
Turkey - Istanbul or Antlya could be a nice option too, if you are able to travel overseas....

Good Luck,
Murat

Peru is recently becoming a new destination for family vacations, I think you will have quite a trip in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, just one hour before machu picchu, you have the most beautiful and virgin valley, you have nice houses to rent for all of you and activities for people in their 60`s, 40`s, 20`s and evens 100`s! hahaha If you want further info, contact me!

does everyone have a passport or do you need to stay within US territories?

Have you considered the islands or Mexico?

Bahamas? There are always cruises if you are into that sort of thing. Costa Rica?

Congrats on your wedding. Belize is a perfect destination for your wedding with no requirments for blood tests and alot of other red tape...you can get married in style on the beach. Its also perfect for family vacations so try Belize.

Check out toucanlulu.com weddings I think they have affordable family vacation rentals for large groups and have a professional wedding planner onsite
