Rohan Performance/Travel Clothes - any experience ??
Has anyone - especially women - tried their clothes for travel? They are pricey (which is fine if they are worth it) and a bit cumbersome to order because they are shipped from the UK and the sizing is different from US sizes.
They sound like they are well designed and fast drying (all of them come with a published "drying time") and that they would be perfect for a month long India trip in October. There are of course, a lot of good performance clothes, but these looked particularly interesting to me. A lot of the women's clothes are made for young women (20's and 30's) in both style and fit, Patagonia, for example. These look made for a broader age range but wonder about anyone's experience??

You may be interested in Rohantime.com the Rohan Clothing community website. There are lots of posts dealing with the clothing you may also like to ask a similar question on the forum. Please contact me anytime if you cant find the answer you are looking for. Rohan try very hard to be accurate about drying times and garment weights.

My wife and I live mostly in the UK have some Rohan stuff and it is good but IMO not really worth the premium pricing. The market themselves as innovative developers of travel clothing but many other companies have similar products at lower prices. One thing they are very good at is designing some clothes that pack very small. Sizing is a bit of an issue as their products do seem to be on the small side for the stayed size - a big problem if buying mail order.
My preferred supplier is http://www.craghoppers.com/?gclid=CL...FYXMtAodmBAAAg who have some great products at reasonable prices and deliver worldwide. I particularly like he Craghoppers Kiwi travel trousers ( trans: pants)
