private beach
Hi! I am planning my honeymoon and one of the things that would interest us is somewhere with the following:
1. a private beach to ourselves.
2. we are looking to go sometime in june.
3. I plan on booking with either the roughly 75-80 thousand starwood points that I have or with 80,000 chase ultimate rewards points that I have.
4. for a period of about 4-5 days.
We just want somewhere quiet and where we could do outdoor activities(like snorkeling or scub diving, canoeing) and be verrrry chill. any ideas? All help is appreciated!

Unless I am reading incorrectly, it appears that some Starwood properties have "private beaches", but that means private in that only guests can be there and not "you have this whole beach to yourself". So I would skip Starwood properties.
This Conde Nast article has some suggestions but it looks like none of them are truly "private". http://www.cntraveler.com/daily-trav...ch-polynesia_7
What is your budget?

I agree with sparkchaser. While some hotels do offer a 'private pool' with a room, the other issue is that that does not mean it is not overlooked by another room. If modesty is the the issue then obviously that is the real concern.
Ignoring the hotel points issue which is probably not going to work, it is not that hard to find a place that will give you MOST of what you want but where you may not feel willing to go sans clothes entirely. For example: http://www.turtlefiji.com/
