Packing Help

No one posts asking for packing help these days. Why is that? Everyone finally figured out what to put in the suitcase on their own?
;-)

That's because everyone is taking those new nude flights.

Traveling light takes on a whole new meaning.

I don't know where you've been, suze, but everybody in-the-know hires professional packers now. But of course.[-(

LOL, you're right, suze! We haven't had a good "carryon-only" vs "lookin' good" showdown in quite a while.

I secretly loved the "what to wear" threads. The arguing could go on for a 100 or more posts.

Or a "can I wear short in Venice in the summer?" or "how can I look as gorgeous as those women in Paris?" or the classic "what should I wear in XXX?".

Most recent was "can we travel around by train with 2x 28" suitcases and 2x backpacks?" and the person willingly accepted the unanimous advice that this was not a very good idea... hardly any fun at all!

Yes, exactly! When Kealalani posts about the good old days, these are the threads I miss.

Naw everyone finally became educated. We all know that only black is allowed from underwear to topcoat. Black at all times. Makes packing easy!

it is just that everyone on fodors is smart . Luckily for me most people aren't on fodors (or aren't so smart)

I have two packing programs scheduled in the next 4 days and both are totally booked up w/ waiting lists.
