Dec 26 - Jan 6 Where to Go?
we only have Christmas break for holidays this year and we usually go to Isla Mujeras but want to try something different this year.
we are not beach people but love exploring cities and small villages, exactly why we loved Isla and all its small colonies. We dont mind cooler temperatures but not snow as we live in Ontario and I hate snow. any body have any ideas.

If you have specific restrictions, it is generally a good idea to mention them.
In the meantime, why don't you and whoever else constitutes "we" go to your local library or bookstore and come up with some ideas that appeal to you? The world is full of interesting places!

At one time, a friend of mine advised me go to Christmas in Lviv (Ukraine). I took a chance and went to travel. I really liked the city: Gothic architecture, magical atmosphere, around snow and beautiful. Every day mini-festivals of Ukrainian songs were held, for the first time saw so many performing choruses. Despite the weather, fairs were held.
