Is there a site compares tour operators?

Hello,
Is there a site like tripadvisor which reviews tour operators?

Has anyone been with Gap adventures ,Guerba or Trek-Holidays? Morocco precisely?

How small is small?
how good are hotels? food?
IS staff knowledgeable?
We don't want to rough it all that much- maybe a berber tent experience....
The group mostly on the young or old side?
thanks

Never heard of those tour providers... but there is one website you can look at: Affordable Tours has a Travel Talk where you can read people's opinions on all kind of tours and tour companies they are selling.

I received this in the mail from a cruise agency that I've dealt with in the pass....it attempts to rate the major tour providers and the services they provide using the cruise industry rating system. Here, for what it's worth....
Luxury Escorted Travel Companies

Abercrombie & Kent is the escorted travel equivalent of a 6-star cruise ship, offering the finest in accommodations and service, and specializing in safaris and European and exotic river cruises.

Deluxe Escorted Travel Companies

There are 4 established companies in this category, roughly equivalent to 5-star cruise ships. Collette offers escorted travel to Africa, Canada, Central America, Europe, Great Britain, New Zealand, and the United States. Insight offers escorted travel to Africa, Europe, Great Britain, Russia, Turkey and the United States. Tauck offers escorted travel to Africa, Asia, Australia, Canada, Europe, Great Britain, Mexico, New Zealand, South America and the United States. Maupintour offers escorted travel and air and hotel packages in Africa, Asia, Australia, Canada, Europe, Great Britain, New Zealand, South America and the United States.

First Class Escorted Travel Companies

The 2 largest escorted travel companies in the world, Globus and Trafalgar, operate in this category, roughly equivalent to 4-star cruise ships. Both companies offer escorted travel to Africa, Asia, Australia, Canada, Europe, Great Britain, Mexico, New Zealand, South America and the United States, and air and hotel packages in London and Paris. General and Gate 1 offer escorted travel and independent air and hotel packages in many of the world's great cities, with local guides to call on for tips and answers, and complete freedom for those who wish to explore on their own. CIE focuses solely on the British Isles. GAP offers adventure travel with an active, outdoor flavor. Rocky Mountaineer operates the highly popular train by the same name on one of the most scenic routes in the world, in the Canadian Rockies. Brendan offers escorted travel in Africa, Australia, Canada, Central America, Europe, Great Britain, New Zealand, South America and the United States.

Budget Escorted Travel Companies

Cosmos offers escorted travel in the budget category, roughly equivalent to a 3-star ship, to Africa, Asia, Australia, Canada, Europe, Great Britain, Mexico, New Zealand, South America and the United States. Contiki specializes in budget travel for people aged 18-35, and offers escorted travel in Africa, Australia, Canada, Europe, Great Britain, New Zealand and the United States.

I did a walking tour with Guerba in August 2004 in the Swiss/French Alps. The group had 10 people. It was very inexpensive and they didn't try to sell me optional excursions. We did not stay at a hotel, it was a chalet, which was sort of like staying in a house. I thought this was a refershing change. The average age of the group was somewhere around 30. I would travel w/Guerba again in a heartbeat.

Try the Lonely Planet website. There might not be a comparison, but are likely to find others who have traveled with these companies and they'll have feed back for you.
