insect repellent bracelets

Have you tried them?
Do they work at all?
What kind do you use?
Thanks.

Can't help you. I bought some last summer because we had worse mosquitos than normal . . . and never took them out of the packaging

If insects are a concern, I'd go with something with more substantial supportive data than what I've seen for the bracelets. JMO.

I have seen them but not tried them because none of the birders I know uses them--so I assume they don't work, but I could be wrong. What works is high-percentage DEET and soaking your clothes in permethrin.

And for those of us who don't like DEET, there's picaradine....

Just to be clear, I hate DEET, lol. But I am a mozzie magnet and it's the only thing that works reliably, for me. It's nice that there are other options these days, as well.
