For most US trips I usually don't buy travel insurance. I book refundable rooms and already have health insurance/evacuation cover (even international). If I have a prepaid excursion or cruise I buy direct with Seven Corners for a single trip (many of the other options are not available to over 70's). Bear that in mind if you fit that demographic.

Seven Corners..this is a new name for me but I'd like to hear more...have you ever had a claim with them? Thanks!!!

No experience with any claims. Friend who travels overseas extensively highly recommends their annual policy. Evacuation coverage is my biggest issue more so than covering nonrefundable package costs or emergency medical.
