Hello Kalpana, and note that Florence is the English language version. The Italian language name for that city is Firenze. That is important to know. Best wishes to your daughter, she will have a wonderful time in Italy.

I studied in Florence during the summer in 2002. I had a wonderful time and would go again. I attended the Lorenzo Di Medici school, which offered classes in Italian cooking, art, and language. I did get credit for college through this experience(humanities credit I think). I believe it was Fairfield Univeristy in Virginia which verified the credits.
