Destination for 4 days from DC in November

Hubs and I are celebrating our 10th Anniversary in November. Apparently kids have killed my brain, because we are having trouble coming up with a destination for a short kid-free getaway, kindly offered by our parents. We have from Wednesday until Sunday, ideally flying direct from the DC metro area. Budget is pretty open; hubs is a golfer, I like good food. Pre-kid we did more adventurous travel (Vietnam, Belize, Guatemala) but since have mostly done luxury golf/Caribbean. Prefer less touristy/smaller resorts - love Coppola resorts in Belize. Hated Sandals in Great Exuma. Drawing a blank on where to go - does the hive mind have any suggestions? We toyed with Iceland, but the weather isn’t really inspiring mid-November (hubs is outdoor tolerant but not a hiker). Also considering Sedona or Grand Canyon, but it’s a long flight and we prefer to maximize our vacation time and minimize travel.

Very different from those places you mentioned, but what about New Orleans or Tampa for more city things, or Savanah or Charleston for a southern vibe and probably warm enough for golf. All four have great food.
