Birthday Trip
I am turning 50 next year and would like to do something special for the occasion. I live in Australia, have done the Silk Road overland from Beijing to Istanbul, The Trans-Siberian, Yangzte Gorges, S-E Asia, UK, Paris, Italy. Any ideas anyone? Tend to avoid conventional holidays. Thanks in Advance.

Usually order the used book from amazon.com for $1.80
Lonely Planet used to be good folks but now
charging almost $20 for a kindle download
what a rip off they are now just another for profit driven
commercial site BBC owned just like TripAdvertizer.
Very sad...
