I'd look at gotoday.com for your hotel and airfare. You can customize them if you need extra hotel nights, and you can get triple rooms.
(Gotoday.com offers some of the same exact packages as virgin vacations, so feel free to go to Virgin Vacations as well. Actually, considering Virgin is supposed to have a comfy flight-and I think they offer trips gotoday.com doesn't-maybe you should just go to virgin vacations instead.)
To be fair, gotoday.com has good prices, but you might be able to beat them slightly. However, they will be able to give you an idea of cheap hotels and find out their names. As a solo traveler, I find that sometimes I can get in slightly cheaper than them if I look long enough. And, by booking your air and hotel alone, you don't have to worry so much about cancellation penalties. But it's very convenient, and I used it for my first European trip to London.
Be sure to check Tripadvisor to make sure the hotels are good enough for you.
Have fun!

Europe- too expensive given the exchange rate- I would urge you to go to Bangkok! Dollar goes a lot farther and for what you would pay for a 3 star hotel in Europe (think motel 6) you can get a 5 star hotel in Bangkok. Lots to see there- great tourist infrastructure, lots of shopping, markets, great food- very tourist friendly - can't be beat!
