Loved our leader for Road Scholar Independent Buenos Aires.

Must eat:

gelato/sorbetto…we tried Rapanui, Luciano’s and Freddo…especially dulce de leche flavors
choripan…we tried Choripanera at the San Telmo Market
empanadas at Sanjuanino in Recoleta
high end dinner,,,reserve..Fervor next door to Sanjuanino

Must do:

A tango demo and lesson is surprisingly fun
Tours Signature Tours, Buenos Aires Greeters, Free Walks Buenos Aires had great offerings and great guides. We enjoyed 3 and could have enjoyed more

Practicalities:

Bring insect repellent.
Some cash is needed, whether US or Argentine.
Uber works well and cheaply.
Waiters want 10% tips in cash.
