I am pretty certain there is no train service to Iguazu. The overnight bus service is a very comfortable and economic alternative to flying. A full cama (flat bed seat) will cost approx 1/3 of the airfare. We got the BA bus from Iguazu to BA but got off at Concordia on the Uruguayan border to cross the river into Salto. The BA buses leave about 8.00pm and arrive at Concordia at 6.00am an I thing reach BA around lunchtime (i.e. 18 hours). It sounds like a long time but it is a lot easier to sleep on a bus than a plane and the service is v. good with reasonable food (dinner and breakfast). We used a new brazilian outfit and they even provided champagne

Hello,

No unfortunately there arent any trains from BA to Iguazu, depending on your time restrictions you can either get the bus or you can fly. The bus to Iguazu takes about 18 hours, you can book it online at http://www.plataforma10.com/

Or you can fly with either LAN or Aerolineas Argentinas, the flights have come down a lot in price in the last couple of years and there are regular flights, you just need to get it sooner rather than later to get the best deal!

Have a great trip!
