I'm afraid I feel Argentina's present political environment is anything but "placid", even though it may seem so, if you compare it with the events of 35 or so years ago.

You can bet that you'll be the first person I'll e-mail if Dad and I start planning another visit! Well, maybe the second person we e-mail ( we'd love to see Madi Lang again! ). We'd love to meet you, though!

Certainly not "placid". "Awful" would be a better word to describe it.
Next winter, get Dad and Uncle out here for a long stay in an apartment. It will be nice and warm in BA.
