“Trip Peru” company reviews
TIA! Anyone with experience with custom travel plans put together by Trip Peru. I’ve found old Trust Pilot and Trip Advisor reviews but nothing recent or a great quantity. Any information appreciated!

Given the lack of traffic on these forums these days I would be amazed if you got a genuine response from anyone who actually used this company.
If you have not seen any reviews, why are you considering using them? It is very easy to self organise a trip to Peru. Book transport direct with the airlines, bus and taxi companies. Expedia and booking.com for accommodation. The only need for a tour would be for any trekking or Amazon trips And those will be cheaper arranged in country.

Never heard of them. Agree with crellston. There are some recent trip planning threads here, see the one from tom_mn for example.
Peru has a well-travelled tourist trail. Unless you plan to go far off the beaten path, which usually won't happen on a first trip, hotels have at least one person trained in tourism and English speaking.
We can recommend a transfer company at Lima airport, Taxidatum. They have been in business for quite a while, I used them early on and had the owner as the driver before he expanded. Within Lima, Uber is now available but your hotel can also arrange rides.
Taxidatum also had services from Cusco. Although if you are staying in Cusco the prior night, you can also have your hotel call you a taxi. They can also find you a taxi from Ollantaytambo to take a "taxi tour" back to Cusco before your flight home.
The main thing to arrange in advance is the Machu Picchu and train tickets. I would NOT use any agency for those, there have been many scams in the past with unknown third parties. Both can be done directly online with credit cards, or in person when you arrive (but in peak season you risk the better options being sold out).
