I realize there are a few threads touching upon this question, but haven't seen any recent posts so wasn't sure if things have changed.

I land at EZE at 9:15am on a Sunday and plan to fly to USH that afternoon. I can take a LAN flight at 2:50pm or a Aerolineas flight at 3:40. The LAN flight is actually cheaper for me, and I understand that LAN's reliability is better. But is the 5 1/2 hours enough time to make it from one airport to another?

I did this airport transfer a few years ago through Manuel Tienda Leon and all worked smoothly, but I had about 7 hours between flights, and I can't recall exactly how long the transfer took.

Any thoughts? Thanks!

I forgot to add that I would prefer to take the Manuel Tienda Leon bus, and not the private taxi.

Unless there is an extremely serious traffic problem, which is unlikely on Sunday morning, 5 1/2 hours should be enough, even using the bus.

Thanks. And I just realized we can take a private taxi if necessary. The last time I did this I was traveling alone, so the bus was much cheaper. But this time I am traveling with a friend, so we can split the cost of the taxi and it won't be that much more expensive.

Do you know if a remis is much faster than the bus? Last time I recall the bus making a stop, and I'm assuming the remis wouldn't?

There are two reasons why the remise or taxi (http://www.taxiezeiza.com.ar/eng/tarifas) would be faster: one is that the private transportation would leave right away and the second one is that it doesn´t stop.

The bus would cost 140 pesos for the two of you while the taxi would cost 210.

Your choice, but I would vote for the taxi. Keep in mind that the taxi offers a cheap (150 pesos) ride to the airport when you leave BA.

Thanks for your help avrooster. Just booked the LAN ticket. Plus the advantage is that I can connect it with my international flight, so if the first flight is delayed I am protected.

arriving on a Sunday as avrooster mentioned will most likely reduced considerably the time between
Airports I would take a Remise, not a taxi but a Remise. ood luck.
