South America - 3 months, advice needed!
Hi all,
I am a 25 yr old female planning a trip to South America (pretty similar to premcng post actually). This is my plan at the moment - it is extremely flexible though depending on any advice you can give me!
- Fly into Rio, stay at the carnival for a week
- Spent about 3 weeks seeing other parts of Brazil including the beaches on the South East coast and the Pantanal
- Move on to Argentina, making sure I cover off Buenos Aires, Mendoza (and perhaps Cordoba), Salta
- Do a tour which includes the salt plains, Lake Titicaca and the inca trail
- Fly out of Lima
Does this sounds reasonable to do in a 12 week period? Do you think I will need any internal flights, are there any other must sees that I am missing? Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Clare

Thanks for your help! Thankfully, the only thing I have actually booked is accommodation for the carnival. Florianopolis, Iguazu, Salta and La Paz were on my list, were on my list, will look into Salar.
Is travelling through out South America by bus ok if you don't speak Spanish/ Portugese?
