Possible to do Sunday Pisac Market and afternoon train to MP in one day?
If we are staying in the Sacred Valley, is it feasible to do the Pisac Market in the morning and then take the train that afternoon to MP? We plan on staying overnight one night.
Thanks

Easy have done it
just have the cab take you down to
www.ollantaytambo.org with a stop at Pisac market
then Calca Urubamba Ollantaytambo hegotiated the fare $30
with an hour wait time at the market...
www.culturalimmersion.org for trains
backpackers usually cheapest...have fun,

Yes plenty of trains leave from Ollantaytambo. I assume you will take just overnight bags, if you can carry them around Pisac market and don't want to hike the ruins, can just use taxis between lodging and Pisac, and another taxi from Pisac to Ollantaytambo to catch the train. Or, you can also ask hotel to find you a reliable taxi that will take care of your luggage while you shop, and see the ruins, and then take you to Ollantaytambo. This should be about $50.
You can book your trains on www.Perurail.com. No need for a travel agent.
