Peru, SAS Travel

Hi Folks;

I am planning a trip to Peru for September hoping to get to Machu Picchu as we were unable to get there last year while in Peru due to the closure caused by landslides.

I am looking at a travel company called "SAS" and would like to know if any of you have knowledge of this company. We want a short tour as we already saw most sights around Cusco. So just a couple nights Cusco, 2 nights Machu Picchu, return train and airport transfers.

Any advice would be appreciated, perhaps with good companies you have used. Thanks.

Christo

I've never used them personally, but they're long established and well respected in Peru. I think you can book them and feel confident of getting good service.

andeantravelweb.com lists all approved companies

recently 1 division of SAS lost their permits so be careful.

mixed reviews on the boards if you will do some searching.

Good recent experience with incalandadventires.com Flavio

from $300 and Yure Chavez PeruTrek4good also Qente.com.

If money is no object Perutreks.com Llamapath.com

Happy Hunting,

Thank you.

Qwovadis, I will check out these leads. I see you tour the forums as you provided good advice for my questions on India.
As you can see we have a busy travel agenda, Peru & Ecuador in September then India in January.

Bon Voyage,
Christo.
