The Terminal Terrestre is actually kind of a complex of several bus companies all in the same part of town, but it's not near Los Niños. You'd need to take a taxi. Los Niños is in an okay part of town, but a couple of blocks beyond, the neighborhood gets a bit dicey. The owner can give you the lay of the land when you get there. He'll tell you, it's fine to go in this direction, but not in that direction. I would always take a taxi to and from the hotel after dark.

And a taxi to the bus station should be no more than 3 soles, so why walk?

Thanks for the advise. We will take a taxi. I didn't know if the hotel was around the corner or on the other side of the city. I can't find a map on the hotel website but in the futue I'll check out Google maps.
