Looking for Guide Info for Percy - Cusco
I am traveling to Machu Picchu and the Sacred Valley in November. I have read in multiple posts here about a guide named Percy. I noted his contact information, but apparently did not write it down correctly. Does anyone know where I can find his contact info?

We emailed Percy and haven't heard back from him in 2 weeks. We are ready to buy our airline tickets from the U.S. to Peru. Does anyone know how his price for 4 people compares to his price for 2 people? Also, what does anyone think about using the small airlines between Lima and Cusco, their safety and reliability? Their prices are less than half of LAN. We are going to Peru during the first 2 weeks of January, 2012.

Sorpresa--Time spent with Percy was good. I would use him again and highly recommend him. Our services included transportation from Cusco to Ollayantambo on day 1. On this day, he did not join us, but had a driver and van waiting at the airport. Along the way, we stopped at two places. In one, women were selling things along the side of the road; the second was the weaving demonstration in Chinchero. After 20+ hours of traveling at this point, I just really wanted to get to the hotel. But, the demonstration turned out to be fun and a good introduction to the country. I'm glad we got to see it.
We also did a full day tour of the Sacred Valley, transport back to Cusco with stops at the Pisac ruins and market and lunch. In Cusco we did a half day city tour.
My favorite meal in Ollaytaytambo was at Cafe Mayu at the El Albergue Hotel. We had lunch there our first day and I was not impressed (had the pesto pasta). We tried it for dinner and it was so much better (stuffed chicken in cream sauce). It was so good, we ordered the exact same meal the following night.
In Cusco, my favorite restaurant was Pachupapa in San Blas. The setting was nice with live Peruvian harp music; food was very good. Fallen Angel was an interesting place; my sister said it was her second best meal (she had a Thai dish).
wkwb--If two people, Percy drives his own car, over 3 he has a driver and hires a van. The number in our party kept changing so I had prices for 2-3 people and then 4+. With the van, it became a per person cost that wasn't much different than cost for 2-3.
My nephew took the Star Peru flight from Lima to Cusco and then Cusco to Puerto Maldonado. The planes aren't all that small. He had no problems, but at one of the hotels, we were told they were less reliable. Based on prices, it was a no-brainer to choose Star Peru over Lan.
