Wow! Unbelievable! You wouldn't be feeding them would you?

Marija,

I'm just back from South America and met a JRC guest who flew into Barranco Alto. He said he saw no evidence of feeding the jaguars this season.

The JRC is operating from a boat this year and guests stay on the hotel boat and travel out each day in small boats looking for jaguars. He saw 3 jaguars in around 5 days and said that the boats take the same routes each day which he got to know. His comment was that he was glad to be off the boat and back on land at Barranco Alto.

Regards,

Pol.

How many guest can JRC accomodate? Just back from Botswana and my family has asked me to put together another family vacation. I'm eying the Amazon and Pantanal, and JRC sound wonderful, but I would have a group of 8-12.

anyplacewild -- Can you please elaborate on your animal and bird list? I saw your review on Trip Advisor for the Pantenal Wildlife Center where you listed all the above sightings, but now I'm confused as to if they were seen at Jaguar Research Center or Pantenal Wildlife Center, or both...
