In BsAs with Kids - Young or Old ?
There is a Venetian Puppet Show in the Botanical Gardens Park every Sunday for the next month. It starts at 6:00 PM, and it is free of charge. It appears that this is an effort to expose children (and others) to Opera.
It sounds pretty good. We learned about it from BA Travel Guide with this link:

Back from the Puppet Show and DH and I both thought it was great. We sat on the lawn (others, more prescient, brought stools/chairs/blankets/mate) right at the stage near Las Heras. There were, by the start of the show, a couple hundred people including kiddies, older sibs, parents and grandparents....and all ages seem enraptured by the Venetian puppets and the opera singing and the presenters (comic and fun). The show lasted ~45 minutes and was very well received and appreciated.
