Absolute Latin America tour company - any recommendations?

Hello,
I am planning to go to Peru and my travel date is approaching so I need to select my tour company. Absolute Latin America offers an attractive package and I am hoping to get some feedback about this company through the forum. Has anyone used them before, and could you please provide me any information about your experience? Thank you!

Excuse me, "scammers noted for first timer no profile fake posts avoid"? Why did you write that? I joined this forum to ask my question and have not set up my profile yet, I'm immersed in researching my trip, so please do not rush to judgment. It was a sincere question. Thank you.

If you have been around forums such as this and TA for awhile you will have been exposed to "pay to review" scams, first time poster giving rave reviews never to be seen again. Qwo has probably noticed this is a pattern associated with this particular company. I assume this is why you are asking, as it doesn't seem to have much of a record.

Sorry I can't help other than to point out that it isn't uncommon to find a very fancy website for companies that are middle men, just repackaging other operator tours. Seems especially prevalent in South America. You'll also find a lot of companies that clone off of other's names, ie Best Peru vs Peru Best.

That Fodorite accuses many new posters of being scammers. But since the syntax is so weird we don't know if he is calling you a scammer or whether it is Absolute Latin America he thinks is the scam?? It looks to me like you are legit, but I'm not familiar w/ that company so who knows .

Good luck - hope someone more sensible sees your thread and can help . . . .

He actually posted four good companies to go with..which would seem to be actual "help".

Hopefully someone who does more than criticise other posters will also post and help.

Another good local company for Machu Picchu is Yure Chavez (Peru Trek 4 Good).
