May 1st is Labour Day in Argentina. What closes down that day?
Trying to do last minute itinerary stuff. I read that May 1st is Labour Day in Argentina. Have a choice to be in BA or Tigre that day (a Saturday). Should I do Tigre that day, or will many places be closed there? I was trying to do Tigre on a weekday (the Friday)Thanks!

I'd say May 1 is a good day to walk around our parks and that kind of thing, because most businesses will probably be closed.
Definitely I'd say do Tigre on a weekday with a good weather forecast.

Hmmm...So maybe I should stay in BA and do museums on the Friday and brave the weekend crowds and do Tigre on Saturday. Does that sound reasonable? I remember a couple years ago I was in Athens, Greece for Labour Day. Quite an event. Are there rallys and the such in BA on Labour Day?
