Peru Trip with Kuoda Tours

My husband and I are planning a trip to Peru for June and we are very interested in using Kuoda Tours. So far, their correspondence has been fantastic and we are very pleased with the personal service they have provided us.

I can't find a many reviews for them, but the reviews that I did find are glowing. I don't know if they are recommended in any guidebooks.

Does anyone have any knowledge of the company that they could share? Though everything about them looks great so far, I can always use more knowledgeable opinions.

Thanks!

I can recommend Kuoda without hesitation. My mother and I booked a trip with Kuoda in November. I was skeptical before the trip because I had found them on the Internet, but they far exceeded our expectations. This is a first class operation with very friendly and very knowledgeable staff. We got a trip designed just for us, and they introduced us to people and places nobody else can show you. Restaurants and hotels were great, and every time we checked into a new place they took pains to make sure we were satisfied. I could go on and on, but suffice to say you won't be disappointed.

Their trips do look interesting but they don't
post prices. Can you give me an idea - for example are they like Abercrombie & kent?-their lowest price trip for about 8 days is about $5,000 per person as opposed to Gate 1 travel's price of under $2,000. (neither included airfare.) Thanks.

www.peruforless.com best local for budget

Gate 1 not local mixed reviews cheapo rotgut hotels

prices vary mainly by the type of lodging

Peru For Less has a boutique hotel selection

represents good value for most...

Fodors has a search function, did you see this

I think Kuoda does customized tours so the pricing will depend on what type of hotel you stay in, etc.

You can see Peru for a modest cost if you do not have to take the Hiram Bingham train and stay in $500/night hotels, of which there are a few.
