Splitting Up BA Hotels....5 Nights one..2 Nights Another?

Me Again How about 5 nights at the Tryp Hotel for the first part of our trip. And after Iguazu and Uruguay the Mine Hotel for the last two nights? I'm just torn between hotels!!! The only drawback I can see, is that we would have to fly with all our stuff and possibly pay overages if we couldn't leave some stuff at our hotel for when we got back from excursions. Opinions PLEASE!

Pack light! I would definitely try two areas (in fact, I stayed in three places when I went to BA, but they were all fairly close together).

I am packing light. But, it's also Autumn and I'll need a few things for cool weather. I usually carry-on my heavier stuff and check in the lighter. But Aerolineas Argentinas only allows 15K domestically for check in. That's only 33lbs.

What do you think of the Tryp 5 nights and then the Mine 2 nights at the end of the trip? Thanks!

What about using the Left Luggage facility at the airport, there's one at the international airport:

I'll be flying to and from AEP, but Marnie on TA said that AEP does it as well. Or at least I think it was AEP...hmmm. Better make sure. Or... I could ask the Mine HOtel to hold stuff for me...or I could wear every heavy thing that I brought on the flight, like I did in Europe!

Seeksocean, are you going in April? I went in April, and expected fall-like weather, but had a summer-like heat wave! But of course you have to expect fall might happen too. Yes, wearing your jacket onboard is one smart way to save weight.

I get there very late April and the fist days of May. I need to further research if there is currently a 'left baggage' facility at AEP. Thanks for all the help!

Thank you again Marnie. Now I am feeling pretty confident to book my hotels. I think I will wait for booking flights though. Booking them this far out proved a mistake on on my last trip, as schedules change a lot in the two months before you need to fly.

I think I'll go Aerolineas Argentinas as Lan seemed to make the most changes in the last itinerary. Thanks again!
