1st time, 4 days, does this sound ok?
Arriving with the wife on Monday the 25th around 11am. First step, pay $260 fee that makes my cheap trip no longer cheap, than find someplace to exchange money at the airport, hail a taxi to take me to Ayres de Palermo. May just check out the neighberhood depending on how tired the wife is from the overnight flight, hoping hotel will have a spot to recommend dinner.
Tuesday morning find a free city-tour, afternoon check out cemetary(hopefuly open decent hours), hope to find good food somewhere.
Wednesday maybe see if hotel knows any tours to the Tigre delta that would be fun.
Thursday, not sure what to do, probably find some shopping. Hopefully find good food somewhere.
Friday, hail a taxi back to airport, hope they don't charge me $260 to leave the country as well.
So, how's that sound??????

Ayeres de Palermo is in an area where there are many good restaurants and cafes. You will have no problem at all finding something that appeals to you.
I can give you some names if you want.
Do you have the websites for the bus tours? I will post them here for you if you need them. I see them every day, several times a day in Recoleta .
The cemetery is open all day .. do you need the website?
If you are there at 11 am, you can join the guided tour. Or on Thursday.
I don't see why you would leave BA for a day in Tigre when you are here for only 4 days.
You should go to San Telmo and spend the day browsing and eating, then walk to Puerto Madero and see the city from the other side of the water. Stopping along the way for a gazillion photographs and a drink here and there to keep you going :- )
Thursday .. Palermo - Japanese Gardens ? Botanical Gardens ? shopping.. eat at Hermanns or Guidos Bar.
They will charge you an exit fee but I think it is $80 - something..

I knew you were joking and I wish I were joking ... I am not sure of the fee amount, it went up since we paid ours. I have to go look on TripAdvisor. There was a long long discussion about this and someone mentioned the price of the exit fee.
Actually, we pay one when we leave Paris too.. not sure what other countries charge them.
Here is a bit of info on Departure fees in general from the NYTimes.

I think maybe $18 -20 is more likely the departure fee. But I will keep looking for the post that I read just this past week.

Also, Do Not Hail a taxi from the airport. Do Not Take a taxi standing out at the curb.
Inside, just as you leave Customs , you can find a Remiss booth. There is VIP just to the left and World Car also .. they charge a set price and they are honest and safe.
Unlike the taxis at the curb. Really.
I have to make a list of restaurants for you now...
