Car Service from EZE into Recolata

I have a group of 8 that will be travelling to Buenos Aires in early October. We would like to hire a car service to pick us up at the airport and take us to the home where we are staying. Any suggestions for reliable and economical transportation? We would prefer a van to pick us all up but two cars may work as well. Thank you.

That should be Recoleta. Sorry for my mispelling.

I can't recommend a van service, but it would be very easy to book two taxis when you arrive at EZE. There is a kiosk just after you exit baggage claim, where they'll arrange a car and arrange for you to be escorted to the car/driver. It seemed like a good price (although I wasn't pennypinching because I was travelling for business) and the car was in good condition. My seatmate (who was from BA) advised me, for safety reasons, to use this type of service instead of a regular taxi - and I saw him book the same kind of car for himself.

Try Manuel Tienda Leon. We booked for five people on line, but you should be able to do it in the EZE terminal just before you exit. They took us to town in a 12 passenger minibus.
Two taxis for eight people with luggage could be a stretch.

I agree with the previous posts. In case you need any further assistance, have you tried contacting a travel company?
I'm not familiar with transfer prices but just to have another option you may consider asking a travel agent. Let me know if you need a reliable company.

Enjoy our country!

You did not indicate whether you are staying at an apartment or hotel. EZE is rather chaotic with taxis. This year I have arranged with the B&B to have a car for us at the airport.

since there are 8 of you it'll be quite cheap for you to get a shuttle, i know its around $30USD for 4 so it'll probably work out cheaper for 8! sandiej is right about taxis, its complete chaos and they come waving signs at you from all directions!
i'd recommend you book a shuttle service with bsas4u, i organised one for my sisters and it worked out great!

I have guided several people that used WOW Argentina services and they told me they have access to the meeting point service at EZE int'l airport. Your name will appear on an electronic board at the hall after you pick up your luggage, in this way you don't have to look for your sign among the lots of drivers and guides that will be there. It's a very convenient service and as far as know it's free of charge. Their site is www.wowargentina.com.ar, check them out just to have an idea of what the cost would be.
Evryone I know who took this service where amazed with how easy it was to find their driver and get soon to the hotel!

I've used a driver from Wow and it is very nice to have your driver waiting inside right after you get your bags. It avoids the "making sense of this clamour after flying all night". It's not the cheapest option, but it makes up for it in convenience and getting off to a good start.

It is not chaotic or horrid to get a remise (private car service) from the Airport.. the booths are located INSIDE the customs barrier -- so you never get to the confusion outside before you've arranged for your car. You can reserve in advance (some can accomodate with a van , others might require 2 cars). A remise costs only a very few dollars more than a taxi.

I use VIP and World Car... happily.

I have contact information (and more info) in my blog:

Thanks for the info on transportation. I had posted earlier and was told to use Remis -- dah.....I didn't realize that Remis meant private car -- so I've been trying to find Remis Transport Company in BA....kept coming up with Leon and the rates seemed rather high.
Will check out both VIP and World Car.
Are you in Argentina?
Nice to have 2 great experts on this board...thanks so much

Hi all. I have sent 2 emails to both VIP and World Car but have not received a response. Maybe my questions were too complicated. I asked them if they could transport me from EZE to AEP so I could check my bags then take me somewhere to wander and have lunch and then back to AEP.

I will try again, but does anyone have any suggestions for reliable remise or transport services I can contact by email?

Also, does anyone know if I can store my luggage at AEP for a short time? We have 6 hours between our flights so I was wondering if AEPs long-term luggage storage is really the right option for us. Thanks everyone.
