2 weeks to travel Argentina
WHat do you suggest if we have 2 weeks in Argentina. Arriving in BA and want to spend weekend there. Then what? We are new, punky retirees. It was suggested we go tot he falls, Mendoza, Salta, Glaciers. Can we do all this in 2 weeks? Should we? What order? Gracias

Argentina is a big country and internal air travel is v. expensive but with two weeks and no restraints on flights you should be able to see a fair amount my personal itinerary would be:
BA 4nts
Salta - 5 nts touring the northwest (the most amazing scenery I have ever seen with great food and wonderful accommodation
Iguazu - 2 nts visiting the Brazilian and Argentine sides
and
Peninsula Valdes - to see the whales
OR
El Calafate to see the glaciers (we did not do this and really regret it)
With only 2 weeks, IMHO Mendoza is not worth it unless you are really into wine (and food).
I am not sure how the flights would pan out as we did all our travelling in the country by bus.
For more info on the areas I have mentioned and some photos, here is a ling to our blog

I agree with Crellston,... five nights let you see a lot...
And be careful you can fall in love with the area and maybe you want to stay here forever!
If you need any info about this area. Make as many questions as you consider necessary.
Flintstones.
