Restaurants near Allstate Arena

Does anyone have suggestions on restaurants near Allstate Arena? Not too expensive or fancy, and preferably one where we can park our car and walk to the Arena.
Thanks in advance -

You may be trying to avoid the $10 parking fee at the Allstate, but I can tell you it's been tried before, many times. All the businesses in the area are alert to Arena parkers. That's why you'll find hotels, etc. also charge for parking unless you are a guest. It may be worth it, though, to avoid the exit crush from stadium parking.

The nearest places I can think of would be at the Radisson. You can go to metromix.com, search for Allstate Arena, and select "what's nearby" to find more options. When figuring distances, don't forget you'll be crossing that big old parking lot on foot.

Even if you eat at a local restaurant, you will not be able to avoid the parking charges. I used to work in an office building right by the Allstate Arena - they will tow you!

Dining options are pretty standard fare right near the arena. The list below are all the restaurants located in the Target parking lot:
Chili's
Panda Express
Chipotle
Steak and Shake

You could park your car at the Rosemont CTA lot for $1.50. Then take the pace #221 shuttle, for 1.50 a person. I'm not sure what restaurants are near this parking lot.

Thanks to all. Bri19sp - I like your suggestion about taking the bus - if I remember correctly, I think the Rosemont CTA parking is on River Rd, and there are several restaurants near by.

It isn't that I am trying to cheat the Allstate arena out of their parking fee - it's just that I've found it's often easier to get in and out if you park away from the venue and walk a little, and we were planning on eating before the show anyway.

Harry Careys has a very nice Rosemont restaurant. Any Rosemont restaurants are realatively close but virtually none are walking distance as previously noted.
