Food lovers, the Blue Room in Cambridge/Boston?
Should I book reservations for Sunday brunch for a group of 7, some of whom are discerning foodies? It sounds good-just wanted to get more feedback on whether the food is great. We are staying at the Marlowe Hotel (25 Edwin H Land Blvd). How far is the restaurant from hotel? Just wondering if it might be in walking distance.

Definatley make reservations, its a popular brunch and its a small restaurant. - there are two seatings one at 11 and I believe the other is at 1. Food is great - some atypical offerings plus the standard pancakes etc. I think you could walk to it from your hotel but I'm not as familar with Cambridge as I should be. I'm guessing that its 3/4 of a mile. Cigalechanta will know for sure.

I know where both places are, but was trying to guess how far. For some odd reason, whatever program Expedia uses seems to be more realistic for short distances within cities. Driving distance is listed as a mile - and when I looked at the driving map they plotted, it was in fact the way one would walk as well. So, a mile. Walking distance? Depends on who you are. Not the nicest of walks, though. However, MBTA would not work for reasons of distance to stops, different lines - it gets complicated.

Thanks Gail for your efforts. Since you say it's not the nicest of walks, the weather may not be great and we range in age from 7 to 75, maybe we should cab it. Might walk back though-love to walk after a big meal. What is MBTA? I am impressed with your map finding skills.
