Where to stay near San Pedro
Good morning everyone...
My wife and are planning a cruise on Oceania sailing from Los Angeles next month. Apparently, the cruise line sails out of San Padro and we are wondering if anyone could make any recommendation where to stay prior to the sailing from San Padro, We fly into LAX and we assuming it would be better to stay close to the Oceania cruise docks. We've never been to the San Padro area and would love to hear any advise from anyone who may have made this same trip. Thanks in advance...

We recently cruised out of San Pedro and found it easier to stay near the port rather than near LAX. The DoubleTree by Hilton San Pedro is close to the marina and just a short ride to the terminal. Another option is the Crowne Plaza Los Angeles Harbor, which sometimes offers a shuttle. San Pedro is quiet and easy to walk around, making it a good spot to relax before your cruise.

We've taken 2 cruises from San Pedro, (sorry, not San Padro). Once we stayed at the Sheraton in San Pedro, which was very near the ship but I think they have a shuttle. The second time we stayed at the Hilton in Long Beach, and that was nice too. They didn't have a shuttle but it was a quick, cheap Uber ride to the ship.
Enjoy!!
Enjoy!!
