Hi, we’ve been quite a few times to Bangkok but always stayed at the Shanghai la at the river but this time wanted a change and have booked the Pathumwan Princess and would love to get some restaurant recommendations. I know it’s at the MBK and we will eat there a couple of nights but I would prefer restaurant suggestions that are not part of a mall.

If you don't want to dine in the mall, I suggest you try some of the surrounding restaurants. You can try Thai modern cuisine at Sra Bua by Kiin Kiin, or try local Thai cuisine at Supanniga Eating Room. If you want to try some international cuisine, you can enjoy delicious Thai cuisine at Issaya Siamese Club.
