Couple in our early 70's wanted more upscale at this point in life.
We can highly recommend the Athenee Luxury Hotel (part of the Marriott corp). We hated to depart after 4 nights.
Beautiful entry with kind team working there. We always felt welcomed each time we arrived. Rooms are gorgeous and large. Delicious buffet breakfast with lots of variety. Large pool if interested in lap swimming. The spa is lovely with wonderful treatment offerings.
We unfortunately left Sony headphones in our room. Mr Ross Park (executive assistant manager) + Dream (concierge supervisor) secured the headphones and had them sent by DHL to Le Meridien Hotel in Chiang Rai. That's service!!

I have looked at the hotel several times but we always end up at the Sheraton Grande.

Nice Hotel and a great location. Short walk to Ploen Chit where you will find the Central Embassy Mall.
