Alaska/Hawaiian merger and miles sale
At the moment there is a bonus on miles purchased through Hawaiian Airlines (up to 100%). These miles can then be transferred (free) to Alaska Air. Alaska has partner airlines such as LATAM (to South America) with mileage and availability of fares at a significant discount vs Delta.

Today is the last day, I believe for the Hawaiian Air double miles bonus. (I never know if when the say 'sale ends tomorrow' if it includes that day. I was able to buy my LATAM ticket to Santiago for about half the going cash or mileage rate on other venues..
