October sun for quiet couple
We're a couple in our early 50's and haven't been abroad since pre-pandemic but finally have 2 weeks in early October to go somewhere/anywhere!
Ideally we're looking for somewhere quiet, relaxing and warm where we can switch off without having to worry about anything. We don't drive, don't want kids around and would love a beach/spa type retreat.
I literally don't know where to start. We're not great travellers I have to say, my wife is a nervous flyer but can cope.
Budget up to about £3K.
Any thoughts?

How far are you willing to travel? I don't know airfares from where you are at the moment but the Brisbane area is 26c in the day, cooling to 15 at night in October,
And every beach in Australia is public, so with a car, it's easy to find a beach to yourself.

No rain all week.
Just get your Visas, hop on a flight. We speak the same language and with the FX rate just now, you'll get a very good deal.Australia – size map: https://www.virtualoceania.net/austr...ustralia.shtml
