Hi everyone! Quick question - I'll be arriving at Managua airport shortly after 12 noon on 15th September and was wondering if anyone could tell me whether it's realistic to catch the 2.00pm flight to Corn Island the same day (assuming my inbound flight is on time, of course). Cheers!

I would not chance this even on a normal day, and this will not be a normal day because Sept. 15 is Independence Day in Nicaragua. I imagine the airport will be very busy on a holiday weekend. I don't know how they plan to handle a Sunday holiday. Will Monday be a day off too? I don't know.

Whenever you get there, enjoy Corn Island. Or as I heard it called there in Spanish, "la isla de Corn Island."
